As a start-up in a busy and often saturated MSP market, costs in the early stage are always going to be a blocker. labdesk are a niche MSP, with our focus on innovative sectors such as clean energy, science, and aerospace. Within these sectors, security is critical… but so is documentation and contracts. I was involved in the start and scaling of previous MSP, and the terms and conditions were always an afterthought. Bottom of the pile for the busy techies and account managers in a growing MSP – This mentality often comes to bite the MSP sooner or later. 

With labdesk, we knew we needed solid contracts from day one – When I found out that Kim and her team were building a SaaS offering to bridge the gap of MSP terms and high upfront costs, I was immediately interested. 

After a short time talking to Kim, hearing the challenges it solves and seeing the product in action I was onboard. We were an early adopter of the platform, and love it. The tool allows us to easily get NDA’s in place and more importantly, solid contracts for our MSP customers.

It has really helped streamline our approach to creating and managing contracts, drastically reducing both time and costs compared to using a lawyer. Through the Contract Builder tool, I was able to create a bespoke Master Services Agreement (MSA) in seconds, send it to my client and have them sign it in the same day. A record for us! 

I have been really impressed with the quality of the contract templates and, in my opinion, are among the best available. In addition, the AI contract review tool has enabled me to quickly understand where the risk in a contract is and how to address it.
