Customising templates in Cloud Contracts 365 allows users to tailor contract documents to specific needs. This feature supports the inclusion of pre-populated answers, making it easier to standardise responses and streamline the process.
If you find that you are repeatedly filling out the same answers your contracts (e.g. always adding your company as the ‘The Supplier’, or your payment terms are always set to 30 days), you can save time by customising each questionnaire template with pre-populated answers to any of the questions.
How do I pre-populate answers?
Simply fill in the answer field(s) you would like to have pre-populated next time (e.g. your company as ‘Supplier’). See 'How to create a contract' for more information.
Leave any answer fields blank that you want to answer on a contract-by-contract basis.
Click the ‘Save as template’ button at the bottom of the screen, then name your template.
Where do I find my templates?
Your customised template is now available under the ‘Templates’ section in the Contract Library or by clicking the magic wand icon to the right on the contract name.
Now every time you start creating a contract from the new template, your pre-populated fields will appear as default answers.
